Justin Harney is the owner and founder of Harney Homes which is his Home Building company that he started in 2003 right after graduating from Riverdale High School. Justin began the process of making his dream come true. Working as a excavator for his father John Harney and Bob Parks Parktrust Development Company he learned the ins and outs of developing subdivisions.

His passion for the building business grew and he knew one day that his dream of owning his company would be a dream come true. One of the most important distinctions between Harney Homes and other home builders is Justin’s experience and knowledge. He holds a degree in Residential Construction Management and Land Development from Middle Tennessee State University. Since 2003, he has built over 300 homes priced from the $200,000s to the $500,000s in 9 Rutherford County communities.

Being a life-long resident of Rutherford County and a 3rd-generation Harney-family Realtor, Justin understands the local home market. He has assembled a large collection of floor plans ranging in size from approximately 1,800 to 4,500 square feet that will accommodate the wants and needs of almost every home buyer. Justin is excited to build in The Maples because it is located in the Buchanan community where he has lived most of his life. Justin is married to his wife Rebekah. They have a son named Jack after Justin’s grandfather which started the family into the real estate business in the 1970’s. They reside in Murfreesboro in a comfortable home on 4.5 acres that he built himself in 2014. Both are active members of The Experience Community Church. Justin is a member of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. He and his wife Rebekah are long time Tennessee Walking Horse owners and both world champions.
